He's retired, so he can do whatever he wants. Yes, my 55-year-old father plays video games, please don't judge. I've been wanting to buy these games for my father as a gift, or gifts plural. Feelings aside, I just want to know if there is at least something that works in this game for Steam. However, since that's all ancient history now, I get the feeling that is not the reason why everyone here is upset. I'm well aware of this game's history and controversies regarding everyone's dissatisfaction towards its endings. That is of course of no one else has done that already. I currently have it in my EA Origin account, along with the first two games being on my Steam account. In fact, I am one of the very first gamers who played this game right when it was released back in 2012. So, I'm hearing that this game does not work well on Steam? Would this be the main reason why the Steam reviews are mixed? Please, don't confuse me as white-knighting for this game.
